Concrete repair and new installations

Asphalt repairs Cracked up sidewalks, curbs, aprons and are a headache for most property owners. At Superior Aggregates, Inc. we specialize in concrete removal and replacement of concrete. Our concrete crew has access to all of our bobcats, and backhoes. We never pile up the concrete debris on your property leaving an eyesore for many days. We immediately haul away broken up concrete to a recycling facility. All of our sidewalk is poured with durable welded wire mesh to help hold it together in the event that hairline cracks appear in the future. New concrete is poured using air entrained concrete mix or higher depending on the situation. If you need to open the slab up to truck traffic within 24 hours, we can use high early strength concrete that sets up very quickly. We always barricade the site thoroughly to protect your customers and residents and backfill the new concrete with dirt that is available from onsite. Paving repair and new installations

New concrete pavements appear to be dense and hard but they are actually rather porous and begin to deteriorate within days of installation.

A regular program of pavement maintenance that includes cleaning, cracksealing and sealcoating typically doubles the life of asphalt pavement.

Sealing the cracks with a rubberized cracksealing material will protect the subsurface from moisture, the primary enemy to asphalt.

After all the cracks have been filled, sealcoating the pavement will protect the surface from moisture penetration, petroleum spills, and ultraviolet rays that oxidizes the asphalt and makes it brittle.

Crack sealing

Sealing cracks is the most economical way to prevent future asphalt deterioration and asphalt expenses. Small cracks of ¼” or less can be effectively sealed using a pourable sealant. Cracks can be blown out or routed and filled with this material. The result is a crack that is impervious to the water that could easily deteriorate the sub-base of the pavement and compromise its integrity if it is allowed to freely flow downward.

Seal coating

Seal coating seals the surface of an asphalt mat, preventing moisture intrusion while recoating the top layers of aggregate with asphalt and replacing the oils that have been lost through oxidation. Seal coating can extend the life of your asphalt pavement and can reduce the need for costly periodic repairs.

Striping and pavement marking

Give your property a face lift by repainting the lines, curbs and traffic markings on the parking lot. For new paving or sealing projects our striping crew gets in right away while the lot is still blocked off. This eliminates extra hassle for your customers or tenants. We use the highest quality traffic marking paints and the latest equipment to get the job done efficiently and with the highest degree of quality.
